Nick Burguer app privacy policy

This notice explains what the Nick Burguer Android app does with information, and what the Nick Burguer website does. In short: the app has no account and no internet access of its own, your orders stay on your phone, and nothing reaches Nick Burguer unless you send it yourself through your own email app or phone.

1. Who we are

The Nick Burguer app and website are provided for Nick Burguer, a burger and salchipapa restaurant run by INVERSIONES ALIMENTICIAS NICK SAS, Calle 64 # 7-22, Urb. Los Parrales, Ibagué, Tolima, Colombia.

You can reach Nick Burguer at nickburguer20@gmail.com or +57 310 566 4082.

2. What this notice covers

Sections 1 to 16 and 18 describe the Nick Burguer Android app. Section 17 describes the Nick Burguer website, which is a separate set of web pages.

When you write to Nick Burguer by email or call them, your email provider and phone carrier also handle that message or call under their own terms.

3. The app at a glance

The app is built so that it does not need to know who you are.

  • No sign-up, no account and no password.
  • No internet permission: the app itself cannot send anything over the network.
  • No advertising, analytics, tracking or crash-reporting software.
  • The menu, pictures and this notice are stored inside the app.

4. Information you type into the app

When you build an order you may enter:

  • The dishes you choose, with their options, quantities and kitchen notes.
  • Your name, and a phone number if you add one.
  • A delivery address, only if you choose delivery.
  • A preferred time and notes for the order.

5. Information the app creates

To keep your orders organised the app also records:

  • An order reference such as NB-0001 and the times an order was created, changed and saved.
  • The prices of each item at the moment you added it.
  • Which contact app you opened for an order (email, dialer or copy) and when.
  • Your favourite dishes, and whether you marked an order as placed.

6. Where your information is kept

Everything listed above is stored only on your phone, in the app's private storage, which other apps cannot read.

The app does not add its own encryption on top of the protection your phone already gives app storage, so keep your phone locked.

7. What the app does not collect

The app does not ask for, or have permission to use:

  • Your location, contacts, photos, camera or microphone.
  • Your phone's identifiers or a list of your other apps.
  • Payment card details — the app takes no payments.

8. When information leaves your phone

Only when you tap one of these and finish the action in another app:

Opening an app is not sending: nothing is sent until you press Send in your email app or place the call yourself.

  • Email: your email app opens with the order text addressed to Nick Burguer. You can change it before sending.
  • Call: your phone's dialer opens with Nick Burguer's number.
  • Copy: the order text or a contact detail goes to your clipboard.
  • Directions: a maps app opens with Nick Burguer's address.

9. How Nick Burguer uses what you send

If you email or call Nick Burguer, they receive the details you chose to share — usually the order, your name, how to reach you and, for delivery, your address.

Nick Burguer uses those details to answer you and to prepare, confirm and deliver your order. The total, any delivery charge and the time are agreed in that conversation.

10. Sharing and selling

The app does not sell, rent or share your information with anyone, and it has no partners that receive data from it.

Messages you send travel through your own email or phone provider, as any email or call does.

11. Remembered details

If you tick "Remember my details on this phone", the app keeps your name, phone and delivery address to fill in your next order.

Untick it — on the order screen or in "Your saved details" in Contact — and they are forgotten at once.

12. How long information is kept

Orders and favourites stay on your phone until you delete them, delete everything in the app, clear the app's storage or uninstall the app.

Deleting an order in the app does not delete an email you already sent or cancel an order you already placed; ask Nick Burguer for that.

13. Your choices

You are in control of what the app keeps:

  • Edit or delete any saved order.
  • Delete everything the app keeps with "Delete all my data on this phone" in Contact.
  • Write to nickburguer20@gmail.com to ask Nick Burguer to access, correct or delete the personal information you sent them. In Colombia, Law 1581 of 2012 gives you these rights over personal data a business holds about you.

14. Backups and moving to a new phone

The app turns off Android's cloud backup and device-to-device transfer for its data, so your orders are not copied to other services or devices.

If you change phones, your saved orders do not move with you.

15. Security

Because the app has no internet access and no server, there is no online account or database that could be breached.

Anyone who can unlock your phone can open the app and see your saved orders.

16. Children

The app is meant for adults ordering food. It is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their information.

17. The Nick Burguer website

The website shows the menu and how to reach Nick Burguer. It sets no cookies, uses no analytics or advertising, and loads its fonts and pictures from its own files.

The website's order builder keeps your choices only in the open page; when you tap Email, your email app opens with the text, and nothing is sent until you send it. Map links open Google Maps, which has its own privacy terms. The company that hosts the website may keep standard access logs.

18. Changes and contact

If the app starts doing something new with information, this notice will be updated in the app and on the website, with a new date at the top.
